Job description
The person working on this position will be responsible for:

• Debugging complex software products through the use of systematic tests;
• Developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products;
• Developing and executing software test plans;
• Maintaining documentation of test results;
• Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will also consult with development engineers, business analysts and system architects in resolution of problems, as well as assist with the designing, coding and execution of automated test scripts. Maintaining automated scripts and attending status meetings, providing oral and written reports will be also part of his/her day to day duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Software Quality Assurance (test automation). Knowledge of industry test standards and automated tools and methods that facilitate functional testing of software which may include load, performance, stress and capacity;
• Experience in test automation and testing tools (QTP, Selenium);
• Demonstrated experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla;
• Scripting experience including Java/JavaScript/VBScript/Python;
• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server;
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organizational skills.

Additional requirements

• Experience in testing Java and C++ applications;
• Experience testing with Agile/Iterative Development.
