Expectations
As a member of X-Team, you’ll be working on a diverse assortment of projects for some of the best-known brand names on the planet – from the largest strategic-thinking aggregates to the busiest websites to the most popular iPhone applications. As such, you will need to be able to define the scope of a project within the boundaries of its budget, establish and maintain a practical production schedule and manage that project throughout its lifecycle.

Flexibility and optimism are necessary attributes in your approach to working with many of the world’s best designers and developers, just as respect and a sense of humor will help you develop a positive relationship with our client-facing sales force. You’re honest and friendly, of course, and an effective communicator eager to interact with the collective in order to find the best way to get the job done right. Responsibilities

• Define scope, budget and production milestones for projects.
• Work with Account Managers to manage project processes and client expectations.
• Ensure top-quality product through effective team management.
• Ensure project profitability through effective production management.
• Create functional briefs and specifications, including wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
• Set and achieve performance and aesthetic expectations through Quality Assurance testing.
• Manage internal team members, freelancers, and suppliers and vendors.

What skills you should have

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar project management role.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Unparalleled attention to detail.
• Superior planning and organisational skills.
• Understanding of different project management tools and methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Agile.
• Solution-focused, objective oriented.
• Know the difference between front-end coding and back-end coding when specifically referring to HTML, CSS, XHTML, W3C, PHP, Java, Flash, Flex, Javascript, .NET.
• You comprehend the key considerations for SEO when building a website.
• You can explain the following terms: CMS, CRM, WordPress, Drupal.
